Jules Koundé posts cryptic Tweet amid Chelsea transfer links

Jules Kounde

Chelsea target and current Sevilla defender Jules Koundé has dropped an interesting cryptic tweet amid links of a potential exit this summer.

The Blues are currently doing all they can to fill in the void created in the defence after the exits. Moreover, the gaffer Thomas Tuchel has turned to the transfer market and identified few players as alternatives in the defence.

Jules Koundé among others is his target this summer as the Blues boss rates very highly of him. However, a move to the Bridge may seem a little difficult to pull off considering the other clubs vying for his services.

Koundé to Chelsea not a reality

Chelsea target Koundé may not join the London-based club this summer as Catalan giants Barcelona are almost closing the deal.

However, there is still a lot that could happen if Barcelona are unable to provide a suitable bid to Sevilla. Meanwhile, the Blues could step in and hijack the deal and bolster the defence ahead of the new season.

In the midst of the transfer links, the defender shared a cryptic message on Twitter. He said-

“One thing’s for sure

If you ain’t aim too high

Then you aim too low”

Now, this could mean a whole lot of things with him sharing a set of song lyrics. Moreover, this is not the first time the Sevilla ace has posted a cryptic message having it done last year.

Koundé’s future seems to be up in the air for long time now and it’s clear he wants an exit. Moreover, with Barcelona pushing for his move, it could be possible that he joins the Blaugrana outfit in the coming days.
