The Italian midfielder has been a regular starter for Chelsea. Jorginho has made 136 appearances for the blues. The 30-year-old midfielder wants a pay rise on his £120,000-a-week salary. However, Chelsea might not offer him a pay rise.
According to Sport, Jorginho is still waiting for a proposal from Barcelona. The midfielder wants to sign a new contract before the summer. In addition, Jorginho is waiting for a new offer from Chelsea.
Chelsea won’t be offering a pay rise, as they have future plans for their midfield. With new manager Graham Potter, Chelsea will be looking to add new players.
The Blues have their sights on Ajax midfielder Edson Alvarez after missing out on a summer deal. Declan Rice has been linked to Chelsea for a long time. Jude Bellingham is another name on the transfer list.
Meanwhile, Barcelona will look to sign Jorginho as the Italian midfielder is said to be the successor of Sergio Busquets .
