Arsenal attacking midfielder Emile Smith-Rowe will be looking forward to his Arsenal comeback. The Gunners’ Number 10 has been out since the start of the season with a groin injury and is predicted to fully return in January.

Arsenal will be traveling to participate in the Dubai Super Cup during the World Cup. They will be facing AC Milan, Lyon, and Liverpool during the tournament. Emile Smith-Rowe will probably be a part of the traveling squad. The midfielder will not be able to participate in training right away. But the Arsenal camp has hopes that he will rejoin the group at the end of the trip.

Smith-Rowe’s recovery from injury seems to be going well according to reports. He hopes to make a proper return at the start of January. His return would be a massive boost to Mikel Arteta, as he adds depth and competition to Arsenal’s forward line.

How Emile Smith-Rowe’s return would improve Arsenal.

The English Attacker was one of the stand-out performers last season. Scoring 11 goals in 24 matches, Smith-Rowe scored the second-highest number of goals last season. Capable of playing as both an attacking midfielder, and on the wings, his return would be a massive boost to Arsenal’s front line.

Smith-Rowe initially had surgery for the groin issue in September. However, the injury flared up during the defeat against Manchester United. Following this, Arsenal and England International decided to focus on his recovery, and aim for a proper return after the World Cup.
