Jorginho has to decide his future with Chelsea. His contract with Chelsea expires in Summer.
Jorginho wants to sign a new contract before the summer
Over the past few seasons, Jorginho has been one of the best midfielders for Chelsea. Jorginho joined Chelsea from Napoli in 2018. The Italy international has made 136 appearances for the blues.
In addition, Jorginho played a key role in their Champions League triumph in 2021.
However, the midfielder is in the last year of his contract with Chelsea.
Jorginho’s agent Joao Santos has said, the midfielder “wants to be clear about his future in January.He wants to have everything tied up before summer.”
Chelsea have not yet made any new offer to the midfielder. Jorginho has been linked to a move to Barcelona. The La Liga giants have shown interest to sign Jorginho. The midfielder is said to be a possible replacement for Sergio Busquets.
Jorginho has made 11 appearances for Chelsea this season in the Premier League. He has impressed new manager Graham Potter with his performances.
Chelsea will look to sign a renewal contract as they don’t want to lose a player who has been one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.
