Arsenal reportedly do not have any serious interest in signing Youri Tielemans. The midfielder is also currently available to sign on a free transfer window.

According to reports, Arsenal wanted to sign Youri Tielemans on a free transfer. The report also claims that the midfielder already agreed personal terms with the Gunners. However, it looks like Football Journalist Dean Jones has very different update on his future. He has mentioned that the midfielder will leave Leicester City. However, he does not feel that the Gunners have active interest.
Dean Jones speaking on the Arsenal interest in Youri Tielemans further said, “I have been surprised to see reports of talks being opened around this because as far as I’m aware, any talks with Tielemans aren’t that recent. “Arsenal do have a long-term interest in him, they obviously know about his availability, that’s common knowledge. “But, there has also been a desire to move beyond him now because of the way the team has progressed so fast.”
THE GUNNERS HAVE ACTIVE INTEREST IN DECLAN RICE AND MOISES CAICEDO
According to reports, Arsenal have made Declan Rice and Moises Caicedo their top midfielder transfer targets. Both the players are also open to the move. However, Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth has said it in the past that it is difficult for the Gunners or any other team to sign both of them in the same transfer window.
Hence, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will have to take the decision between both of them in the next summer transfer window. A report also claims that both the midfielders are likely to cost 80-100 million each in the next summer transfer window. West Ham are open to selling Declan Rice for the right price. Whereas, Brighton are also open to selling despite their midfielder extending his contract.
Hence, it is clear that Arsenal have limited interest in signing Youri Tielemans. They know that players of higher level are going to be available in the next summer transfer window. Hence, they will target these players to help them potentially play in the Champions League next season.
