According to reports, Liverpool midfielder Naby Kieta will leave on a free transfer at the end of the season. The report also claims that he prefers a move back to Bundesliga. However, the rumours of Dortmund interest is not true. Whereas, Football Journalist Ryan Taylor has called him one of the worst signings of the decade for the club.
The Liverpool midfielder arrived in 2018 in a 52.4 million deal. Ryan Taylor further said, “I think, the expectation when he arrived, after Liverpool waited a year for him after signing him in 2017, before eventually joining in the summer of 2018 just hasn’t been matched. “He looked really good when he first got going, but he can’t seem to stay fit. He seems to be made of biscuit. The lad can’t play a single game without picking up an injury. It’s just mind-blowing.”

According to reports, Naby Kieta is not the only midfielder that will leave Liverpool in the next summer. A report also claims that Alex Oxlade Chamberlin will also leave the club on a free transfer. Whereas, James Milne’s one year contract is also going to expire. However, Jurgen Klopp has asked the owners to extend his contract. Although, there is no agreement between club and James Milner.
A report also claims that Liverpool are planning a huge overhaul in the midfield position. Hence, they think that the summer window is the perfect window. They also continue to try and convince Jude Bellingham to leave Dortmund and join them. However, the interest of clubs like Manchester City and Chelsea is making it difficult. They also retain their interest in Moises Caicedo and Mason Mount .
Hence, it is better that both Naby Kieta and Alex Oxlade Chamberlin leave the club in the next summer transfer window. This is because both the club and players need to change themselves in the next season. Both of them will leave on good terms with the club and fans.
