LIVERPOOL AND ARSENAL PLAY OUT AN EXCITING DRAW

Arsenal are now six points clear on the top after a 2-2 draw against Liverpool. Whereas, Manchester City easily won the match against Southampton. Arsenal were leading 2-0 after 30 minutes with the help of goals of Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus. However, the Reds started getting things right and star man Mohamed Salah score the goal before the half time.

Liverpool started the game similarly in attacking style. Hence, they also got a penalty after Rob Holding fouled Jota in the box. However, Mohamed Salah missed the penalty again. Although, Roberto Firmino saved the day with the equaliser in the 86th minute. The Reds tried very hard for the winning goal. However, Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale made some beautiful saves in the last minutes.

JURGEN KLOPP IS GOING TO TALK WITH MOHAMED SALAH

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that he will talk to Mohamed Salah about his penalty duties till the end of the season. This is because he also missed a penalty against Bournemouth. Hence, the miss against Arsenal was also the second miss in a row for the Egyptian forward. They could have won both the games with the help of the penalties.

Hence, Liverpool manager further said, “I only saw the penalty after the game. I thought a few people in the crowd reacted. When you don’t see the penalty, you react on what the people see. “A few people obviously thought the ball was in but it missed the goal. That’s why I had for a second, the fist [pump] then I realised no-one was really celebrating and the ball was not in. “That’s something we will talk about (whether Salah will stay on penalties) but not here.”

Liverpool forwards need to take the pressure of Mohamed Salah. They need to also start scoring goals and contribute for the team. Whereas, their main target for the rest of the season is to avoid losing games for the rest of the season.
