Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp praises current Premier League leaders Arsenal.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has praised the performances of Premier League leaders Arsenal. The Gunners are also their next opponent.

However, Klopp has said that they fancy themselves against high-flying Gunners. He has also said that they themselves have a great form at home.

LIVERPOOL BACK THEMSELVES AT HOME AGAINST ARSENAL

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has praised the performances of Arsenal. The Gunners are currently at the top of the Premier League table. They are also eight points clear of second placed Manchester City this season. Hence, the Gunners are moving fast towards the ultimate Premier League title. However, Jurgen Klopp thinks that his team have the capability to stop the progress of the Gunners.

The Liverpool manager further said, “The next game is Arsenal,’ Klopp . ‘I don’t know exactly where Arsenal were last year, but they are now obviously flying, in incredible shape, play super football, honestly, that is really good to watch. “But we are there, it is a home game and our home record is not as bad as the away record. It means I am really looking forward to this game now because tonight I saw a step and that’s what I wanted“.

OWNERS ARE GOING TO BACK HIM IN THE NEXT SUMMER TRANSFER WINDOW

Liverpool owners will back Jurgen Klopp will get the financial backing in the next summer transfer window. This is irrespective of the position they finish in. They are also set to lose Alex Oxlade Chamberlin, Naby Kieta and Roberto Firmino on free transfers. Hence, the club should have the money to sign replacements.

The priority for Liverpool in the summer transfer window is to sign a marquee midfielder. Hence, players like Moises Caicedo, Jude Bellingham and Mason Mount are linked. Whereas, they will also hope to sign a new attacker to replace Firmino. They need to have someone that can share the responsibility of scoring in big Premier League games with Mohamed Salah.

However, the short term target for Liverpool will be to keep trying to push for European football next season. They are currently 8th in the Premier League table. Hence, every game from here is like a final for the club and Jurgen Klopp.
