Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah is fit for the game against West Ham. He was also pictured training with the team on the ground.

However, the striker has to now compete with a fit Gabriel Jesus for the starting spot. Although, the return of Nketiah will increase squad depth for the rest of the season.

ARSENAL STRIKER IS AVAILABLE FOR THE GAME AGAINST WEST HAM

It looks like Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah is available for the game against West Ham. He also got pictured training with the rest of the team. Hence, it is clear that the striker is back to full fitness. Eddie Nketiah also started majority of the games in absence of Gabriel Jesus. However, because of injury, Leandro Trossard played in the striker position.

Arsenal certainly did not miss him much during the injury period. This is because Trossard did well and did well to link up with Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli. Whereas, in a week or two after that , Gabriel Jesus also recovered from his injury. He also got the goals and assists after returning. However, it looked Mikel Arteta missed him against Liverpool.

MIKEL ARTETA DID MISS EDDIE NKETIAH AGAINST LIVERPOOL

Arsenal drew 2-2 against Liverpool. However, Mikel Arteta would have benefitted with an option like Eddie Nketiah on the bench. This is because Nketiah tends to do well in the big match. It is also because of the same reason that the Gunners extended his contract. The return of Eddie Nketiah also means that Trossard can now play as a back-up for Gabriel Martinelli.

Hence, it looks like Arsenal finally have their forward line available for the rest of the season. However, they do have issues in the defence department. This is because Takheiro Tomiyasu is out for the rest of the season. Whereas, William Saliba also continues to recover from his back injury. The center-back also was not involved in the latest training season.

Hence, it looks like Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will have to start Rob Holding against West Ham. The Hammers are in relegation battle under David Moyes. Hence, this is the best chance for the Gunners to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table.
