Whereas, the good news is that he is lucky to not be out for the rest of the season. Mikel Arteta has also said that the injury is not worse. However, the injury is a nasty one.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta speaking on the Eddie Nketiah injury further said, “We have to be patient. It was a nasty injury and he has a big challenge ahead of him, it could have been worse. “He added that he was still “a few weeks away”. However, the injured part of the body is not clear. Although, a report claims that striker has suffered an ankle injury.

GABRIEL JESUS AND LEANDRO TROSSARD HAVE RETURNED AT THE RIGHT TIME

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will also feel little lucky with the timing of injury. This is because Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Jesus have returned at the right time. Hence, the Gunners will not miss Eddie Nketiah as much. However, Eddie Nketiah will feel disappointed with the timing of injury. This is because he was performing well leading the line.

However, Arsenal have done well without him after Leandro Trossard has impressed with his recent performances. Gabriel Jesus also returned from his long-term injury as a substitute in the 3-0 win against Fulham. Hence, the Gunners will hope that Trossard and Gabriel Jesus can get the work done. Whereas, they will also hope to have Eddie Nketiah as early as possible.

This is because the Arsenal team are in an intense Premier League title battle with Manchester City. They are also the one of the favourites to win the Europa League. Hence, Mikel Arteta will need every player fit in the squad to help them win the games for the rest of the season.
