Arsenal star striker Gabriel Jesus has recovered from his major injury. Hence, he also trained with the team before they left for the match against Sporting. Many fans have also showed their love for the Brazilian. They also believe that Jesus will further help their quest for the Premier League title this season. However, Mikel Arteta has said that he will not take a risk with Gabriel Jesus.

The Arsenal manager speaking on the return of Gabriel Jesus further said, “We will try not to rush him back, we will try to make a fair assessment between what he needs and when is comfortable and as well giving the team a boost that it’s going to need in the next few weeks for sure. “Everything is going well, he needs time as well to get himself that confidence and that physical state that is necessary to compete with a free mind and once he’s free to do that, we will throw him in.”

ARSENAL HAVE A NUMBER OF INJURY CONCERNS AHEAD OF THE MATCH AGAINST FULHAM

Arsenal now face Fulham in their next fixture on Sunday. A report also claims that Leandro Trossard, Martin Odegaard, Kieran Tierney and Eddie Nketiah remain major doubts. They also did not play in the Europa League game against Sporting C.P. Whereas, Gabriel Jesus continues his recovery from his injury. Although, Mohammed Elneny is certainly not available.

The Arsenal manager Arteta has also said that he will not take a risk on these injured players. This is because he does not want them to play one game and then get injured for the rest of the season. Mikel Arteta has also confirmed that Odegaard suffered from illness after arriving in Portugal. Hence, there is a chance he may return for the match against high-flying Fulham.

Arsenal must make sure that they do not underestimate the ability of Fulham. Fulham under Marco Silva are currently fighting for the Europa League places. The Marco Silva side also has the advantage of having more rest than the Gunners before the match.
