Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is feeling concerned with the injury of Leandro Trossard. However. he also has options to replace him in the team.
The Belgian winger will also feel happy because he will only four matches. It is also because international break is there after 4 matches.
ARSENAL MANAGER CONCERNED WITH THE INJURY OF LEANDRO TROSSARD
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has said that there is concern with the injury of Leandro Trossard. The player also did not look happy as he could only play 22 minutes against Bournemouth. However, the bigger picture is the Gunners came back from 2-0 down to win 3-2. Although, Mikel Arteta did have concerns with the Leandro Trossard injury.
The Arsenal manager further said, “It is a worry,”. “He came to me straight away and told me he could not continue because he’d felt something when he was tracking back after the corner. We have to assess him and see how he is.” However, Mikel Arteta is now also aware that he has a number of wingers that are ready to replace the injured Belgian international.

The Arsenal manager has also said that he has the players in the squad that are capable of covering up for the Trossard injury. He further said, “We have alternatives – Emile can play in that position as well, we can move players and Reiss can give us width and threat in wider areas,”. Mikel Arteta will also hope to have Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus coming back from injury.
However, the Arsenal manager does not want to take risk and rush the players back from the injury. However, the expectation is that the Gabriel Martinelli will lead the line against Sporting C.P. Whereas, Gabriel Jesus and Trossard are likely to become available after the international break. The Gunners have to only play 4 matches before the international break.
Arsenal will also hope that the players that go on international break do not suffer injury. Whereas, they will also hope that Trossard has not suffered a serious injury. This is also because they need to win the Premier League title and Europe League to have a successful season.
