Arsenal manager provided positive updates on the fitness of Gabriel Jesus. However, he has also said that they will respect the advice of the medical team.

The Brazilian striker has also started training with the ball on the pitch. However, he is yet to receive the go ahead to train with the team.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has said that Gabriel Jesus is getting more and more closer to train with the team. However, they will rush him into the team. This is because, they know that another injury will threaten his next season also. Hence, the club and the player are following the advice of the medical team. However, Mikel Arteta has also said that he is happy with the recovery of the Brazilian striker.

The Arsenal manager on Gabriel Jesus recovery further said, “He’s progressing well,”. “Doing more and more on the field. The knee’s not reacting so it’s really positive. “We want him back as quick as possible, but also respecting the timescale that the doctors and the specialists are giving us”. Hence, it is clear that Mikel Arteta will not take a risk on the fitness of their star striker.

The performance of Trossard also means that Eddie Nketiah is not the only player that can play as a striker for the team.

However, Arsenal will hope that Gabriel Jesus returns soon from his injury. This is because the Gunners need him for the busy schedules of March and April. The Gunners are also now aware that they will face Sporting CP in their next Europa League knockout fixture.
