Rashford was criticized by former Manchester United Star after Arsenal’s Defeat

About Football Express UK

Marcus Rashford has been in the form of his life after the World Cup. Has scored 9 goals after the showpiece event bringing up his overall tally to 17 in 28 games. He opened the scoring at the Emirates stadium. Contemplating a great run with an absolutely sensational finish from outside the box. Sadly the gunners came back from behind for a well-deserved 3-2 win extending their lead at the top of the table. Former Manchester United defender Paul Parker was critical of Rashford after the defeat.

The former United star told wettbasis,

“You have to respect that he is scoring goals but he also needs to contribute with other things and he is never doing that. He tries to dribble past three defenders with his eyes closed and crossing his fingers”

He further added that they aren’t many great players on the bench so they don’t have any other options but to make him play. Parker was visibly left unimpressed by the former’s dribbling skills. He feels Rashford needs to offer more rather than just goals.

Rashford turning up the heat this season

After rediscovering his form under Erik Ten Hag, Rashford has been turning up the heat in every match. He has been the standout player in most matches lately. His latest strike did put United ahead but in the end, it turned out to be the Red Devils’ 5th loss of the season putting them in 3rd place, 11 points behind table-toppers Arsenal at the moment.
