The 2023 summer transfer window began with an impressive start. Since, Manchester City wasted no time in getting active in the market once again. On Wednesday, June 14, there were notable developments regarding the futures of Riyad Mahrez and James McAtee. In particular, there was growing interest from Saudi Arabia regarding the Algeria international.

Regarding departures, new information has emerged regarding Bernardo Silva. The Portugal international has garnered interest from PSG, although he has expressed a desire to move to Spain for various reasons.

According to the Daily Mail, Mateo Kovacic anticipates Manchester City to finalize the transfer fee with Chelsea in the upcoming days.

Pep Guardiola has expressed his desire for James McAtee to be a part of the Manchester City first-team squad for the next season. The club intends to reject loan offers. Thus, aiming to provide McAtee an opportunity to develop alongside prominent players like Kevin de Bruyne and Phil Foden. According to the Daily Mail, Manchester City is open to considering offers for Kalvin Phillips during this summer transfer window. However, Phillips himself intends to stay at the club and demonstrate his worth. Burnley has shown interest in Manchester City’s James Trafford. Nevertheless, it is worth noting that Trafford is not a potential first-choice goalkeeper.
