Man United put three important players for sale in January

Manchester United

Man United are getting worse each matchday and pressure is mounting up on Erik Ten Hag to perform. The Dutch manager seems completely clueless about what is going wrong at Man United. With rumours circulating of potential sack, Ten Hag looks to improve things at the Old Trafford urgently. Despite signing Rasmus Højlund and Mason Mount in the transfer window, it did no good for the Red Devils. Man United currently sit at the 6th position in the Premier League and out of European Competitions. After a recent defeat to Bayern, the Red Devils were knocked out of Europe in the Champions League group stage. With all these set backs, Ten Hag and United look to change their course with transfers.

Man United to sell three players

According to The Independent earlier, Man United are looking to offload three senior players. They are Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Casemiro. The Red Devils reportedly want to offload these players in the January transfer window.

Jadon Sancho arrived as the next big thing in Man United from Borussia Dortmund. He established himself as one of the best talents in football at Dortmund. Sancho had a decent start in Man United but gradually fell off due to a tussle with manager Erik Ten Hag.

Meanwhile, Casemiro had a great first season at United. But he could not replicate his form and performances he had in Real Madrid.

Raphael Varane too, had a pretty decent start for the Red Devils. But like his former Real Madrid teammate, couldn’t perform like his prime. Adding injuries to his time at United, he fell from favours of the Dutch manager.

United are willing to sell these players if a suitable offer arrives at the table. Offloading these players will bring a major cut to the wage budget, allowing them to sign new players in January or next summer.
