Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp couldn’t conceal his excitement upon the arrival of Ryan Gravenberch to the club. Klopp went on to elucidate his strategic intentions for utilizing the Dutchman. Meanwhile, the club say that they did manage to complete another eleventh-hour transfer deal with Hull City before the transfer deadline.

Meanwhile, Liverpool wrapped up their summer signings by securing Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich. For a sum of £34.2 million (€40 million). The Dutch midfielder signed a five-year contract at Anfield and was assigned the number 38 jersey. Gravenberch’s initial interview as a Liverpool player carried emotional weight. Since, he expressed his deep affection for the club’s anthem, “You’ll Never Walk Alone.”

The former Ajax talent had long been on Klopp’s radar. Hence, marks the final piece in the German manager’s midfield overhaul. Liverpool has successfully introduced four new players into their midfield, alongside stalwarts like Jordan Henderson and Fabinho. Thus, resulting in a total of six additions to fortify their engine room.

What does Liverpool manager think about the transfer?

The signings of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai were complete early on, and Waturu Endo’s arrival went smoothly. However, Liverpool had to exercise patience and persistence to finalize the acquisition of Gravenberch.

Gravenberch’s departure from Bayern Munich transpired after manager Thomas Tuchel ultimately granted his request to depart the Allianz Arena. Hence, there he had found himself at best as the fourth-choice option.

With a fresh beginning on the horizon, Klopp is eagerly anticipating the opportunity to commence work with his new “exceptional talent.”

Klopp said in an interview: “ I’m really happy to bring him in because he’s an exceptional talent. How Thomas Tuchel said today in the press conference in Munich I think, the position he is best at, they don’t really have in their system. We have that – that’s good.”
