Liverpool just completed their signing of Dutch footballer Gravenberch

Liverpool

Liverpool sealed their midfield transformation on the deadline day. That is after finalizing the acquisition of Dutch international Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich.

The 21-year-old midfielder will not be eligible for tomorrow’s match against Aston Villa. Since, the Reds were unable to complete his registration in time.

If the reports hold true, Liverpool has agreed to terms amounting to £84.6 million. Encompassing both the transfer fee and wages, to secure the signing of Gravenberch from Bayern Munich.

Regarding the transfer fee, Liverpool reached an agreement with the German champions to acquire the Oranje midfielder for a sum of £34.2 million.

Conversely, the former Ajax player has inked a contract that will see him earn £194,000 per week. Thus, totaling £50.4 million over the course of the next five years.

At Bayern Munich, Gravenberch was earning an equivalent salary despite being primarily a benchwarmer. He only started three games in the last Bundesliga season and missing out on the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Liverpool eagerly awaits to witness Ryan Gravenberch in action

Gravenberch has expressed his desire to secure consistent first-team action at Anfield, with the goal of securing a spot in the Netherlands squad for the European Championships next year, provided they qualify.

The Dutch midfielder will be donning the No. 38 shirt, which was previously worn by Andrea Dossena and Jon Flanagan.

Liverpool fans are hopeful and eagerly anticipating Ryan Gravenberch’s debut in action after the international break.
