ARSENAL INCLUDE THE YOUNG LINO SOUSA IN THE FIRST TEAM TRAINING AGAIN

Arsenal young defender Lino Sousa was again called to first team training. The club media also confirmed his presence after sharing his photos on their latest training session. However, he is not going to get included in the first team squad. Although, he is going to benefit from the experience of training with the first team this season.

Arsenal also expect to loan him out Lino Sousa next season. A report also claims that Gunners prefer a loan move to EFL club. They want him to get the experience of playing regular first team football in England. A report in the Sun website has also called him the next Jordi Alba. Hence, the Gunners should continue his development as a player very carefully.

THE BRAZILIAN LEFT-BACK CERTAINLY HAS A FUTURE WITH THE GUNNERS

According to a report in Athletic, his old club West Bromwich Albion rated him very highly. However, they had to sell him because of the interest of Arsenal and his expiring contract. Lino Sousa has also proved the same with the academy teams of the Gunners. He has played well for the U-18s and U-23s. Hence, Mikel Arteta has also included him on the bench this season.

The latest was he was included on the bench in the 1-1 draw against Brentford. However, he has also made 12 Premier League 2 appearances, three EFL appearances and also two FA Youth Cup outings. Hence, it is clear that the left-back is ready for first team football. However, next season, Arsenal will likely loan him out for the next season.

This is because Arsenal already have Oleksandr Zinchenko and Tierney on their books. Hence, keeping him at the club as third choice would not make sense. Therefore, the Gunners are hoping to loan him out to a Championship side for the next season.
