Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale is finally getting the recognition he deserves. This is also after his brilliant two saves in the final minutes against Liverpool.

This also helped the Gunners leave Anfield with at least one point. Therefore, Ramsdale has silenced the haters after his move from Sheffield United.

ARSENAL GOALKEEPER RESCUED A POINT AGAINST LIVERPOOL

Arsenal began very well with their attacks against Liverpool. Hence, they also got the rewards from the attacks. They lead 2-0 against Liverpool within 30 minutes. However, after that Liverpool finally started getting grips on the game. Therefore, they also got one goal courtesy of Mohamed Salah before the half time. Liverpool also continued their domination in the second half.

However, Mohamed Salah missed his penalty chance after a foul on Jota from Rob Holding. Although, Liverpool did get their equaliser against Arsenal with the help of Roberto Firmino. However, the Gunners also are aware that things could have gone more worse. Although, star goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale made two brilliant saves to make sure that the Gunners leave Anfield with at least one point.

MIKEL ARTETA PRAISED THE PERFORMANCE OF AARON RAMSDALE

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has also praised the performance of Aaron Ramsdale. He has also compared his saves to Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson. The manager has also said that this saves are very important for their title race for the remainder of the season. Aaron Ramsdale has also proved his haters wrong with his brilliant saves.

The Arsenal goalkeeper further said, “You also need your goalkeeper in title races – you need magic moments from your keeper – and Aaron was there for us, just like Alisson has been for Liverpool so many times. But we look at ourselves in the mirror and could have done better with some big chances. However, he has also said that the rest of team could have done more to finish the game off at 0-2 or 1-2.

Although, the Arsenal manager further said that a draw at the end is a fair result for both the teams. We also think that he will agree that Ramsdale is a bargain signing made at 26 million. This is despite suffering two relegations with Bournemouth and Sheffield United before joining the Gunners.
