Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun reportedly will not sign a contract extension with the club.

Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun reportedly will not extend his contract with the club. This has also happened after his brilliant performance on loan with Reims in Ligue 1.

Hence, the Gunners are also open to sell him for the right price in the next summer. It is also because Florian Balogun wants to start every game for his team.

ARSENAL AND FOLARIN BALOGUN CONTRACT SITUATION FULL STORY

According to reports, Arsenal are open to selling Folarin Balogun in the next summer transfer window. This is also because he wants to start every game next season. However, the Gunners cannot provide that guarantee to him in the next season and future. Therefore, the striker has also rejected multiple contract offers from the Gunners.

The contract of Balogun with Arsenal ends in the 2024 summer transfer window. Therefore, the Gunners think that the next summer is the best time to sell him. Inter Milan, AC Milan and multiple Premier League sides continue to monitor his situation. A report also claims that the Gunners will demand a transfer fee of 40-50 million for their in-form young striker.

THE GUNNERS ALREADY HAVE LOT OF FORWARD OPTIONS FOR THE PRESENT AND FUTURE

Arsenal already have the likes of Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah as their striker options. Gabriel Jesus signed from Manchester City in the last summer. Whereas, Eddie Nketiah has also signed a new contract in the last summer. Hence, both of them will certainly not leave the club in the next summer. Whereas, January signing Leandro Trossard has also done very well in the striker position.

Therefore, it is better that Folarin Balogun leaves Arsenal in the next summer transfer window. He certainly has the potential to start for the other big clubs in Europe and Premier League. The young England striker is also one of the top goal scorers in Ligue 1 this season. He is on the list with the likes of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, and Lionel Messi.

Hence, it is better that Arsenal and Folarin Balogun decide to part ways in the next summer transfer window. However, the Gunners do expect him back training with the team in the pre-season tour for the next season.
