Arsenal are reportedly monitoring the situations of Yunus Musah and Marc Guehi for the next summer. However, they have not yet made bids for them.

This also means that existing midfielders and defenders may leave the club in the next summer. Albert Sambi-Lokonga and Rob Holding are linked to exits.

Whereas, Marc Guehi is having an impressive season with Crystal Palace. This transfer links also mean that manager Mikel Arteta and club owners are going to continue the trend of signing younger players.

The Arsenal hierarchy and manager are looking to bring the average of the squad more than. Both the potential of Musah and Guehi will also provide them with more squad depth for the next season. Many football pundits have also called Rob Holding a Championship defender. Granit Xhaka is also linked with an exit from the club. Therefore, it looks like the Gunners will again bring new players in the next summer transfer window.

Arsenal are now on 2nd on the Premier League table after the win for Manchester City against Fulham. Rob Holding has also struggled to replace William Saliba in the line-up. Hence, it is clear that Mikel Arteta knows that squad depth is the problem.
