Transfer News: Manchester United target addresses future at Ajax

About Football Express UK

Ajax ace Antony has addressed his future with the Dutch club after repeatedly being linked with Manchester United this summer in the transfer window.

Manager Erik ten Hag has wanted the Ajax attacker at Old Trafford and has been pushing to secure his signature. However, the strong links with the Premier League outfit in the window do not seem to bother the Ajax ace.

Antony has broken his silence on his future and has said that he ‘feels good’ in Amsterdam hinting at staying.

Manchester United target opens up

Manchester United are going after the Ajax attacker as they feel that Cristiano Ronaldo could be on his way out. Moreover, the club believes adding Antony to the United squad could bring in a lot of depth which could prove to be vital.

While Erik ten Hag is looking for a reunion at United, Antony has spoken otherwise over his potential move. Speaking with NOS as quoted by Sportsmole, he said-

“No idea… he has to discuss this with my agents, I am focused on here. What will come will come, we will see.

At the moment I feel good here,”

“Like I said, I feel good here. I love this country.

I give everything for this club, every minute, every second. And when I don’t play I like to enjoy the beach and city.

I am loving this city and this club.”

Moroever, the Red Devils certainly need a forward who can provide them with the goals this season if Ronaldo leaves. However, the statements made by the Ajax ace seem like a potential move to United may not be on the cards.
