Liverpool are set to host Crystal Palace in their first match at home at Anfield this season in the Premier League.
The Reds certainly may not have had an ideal start to their PL campaign after being held draw to Fulham. Jurgen Klopp’s men were on the brink of throwing away three points before Salah and Nunez came to the rescue.
However, during the match, Thiago Alcantara picked up a hamstring injury for which he will be out for atleast six weeks. Now, the gaffer has been pressurized by the fans, and pundits to make a signing in the central area.
But the Liverpool boss has cleared that he will not make any panic buys this summer in the transfer window. He wants to be fully confident of the signing if a transfer is to be engineered by the club this summer.
In an interview, he harped upon bringing in the right player who can integrate well into the Liverpool squad. He said–
“I’m happy with the strength, size and quality of my squad but we have injuries, that’s how it is,”
“There are plenty I would say and one of them is the transfer market, but the transfer market only makes sense if you can bring in the right player.

Patrick Vieira’s men will lock horns with the once European Champions from Merseyside. Klopp will undoubtedly have a new player in the midfield to replace Alcantara in the centre of the pitch.
