The Los Blancos lost David Alaba for the remainder of the season. This is after it was confirmed that he ruptured his ACL. He joins fellow defender Eder Militao on the sidelines till the end of this season.
Real Madrid only have Rudiger and Nacho Fernandez available at the back now. And if rumours is to be believed, they are keen to bring Varane back next month to Real.
The Athletic revealed just a few days ago that Varane’s contract at Manchester United actually expires at the end of this season, if they don’t extend.
The Red Devils have the option to extend that by another year. But if a chance to return to Real Madrid comes up, we’re sure Varane will seriously consider it as it would be a dream return for him.
