Arsenal and Liverpool settled for a 1-1 draw at Anfield yesterday and there were some exceptional performances especially for Gabriel Magalhaes. Gabriel Magalhaes’ performance seems to have really impressed Declan Rice and many other people as well.
Jurgen Klopp‘s side were the favourites to win the game. But the Gunners did really well to pick up a point at Anfield. Gabriel, who scored Arsenal‘s goal, was one of the best players on the pitch for the Gunners.
Gabriel was just extraordinary for Arsenal
Mikel Arteta‘s side’s strong start pushed Liverpool back. And the Reds panicked and gifted a free kick a long way outside the box for the Gunners.
Martin Odegaard stepped up for Arsenal, and he laid it on a plate for Gabriel Magalhaes. He headed it home brilliantly to give the visitors a deserved lead.
Gabriel was extremely solid at the other end of the pitch as well along with Saliba. The Brazilian, along with William Saliba, kept Liverpool at bay more often than not. And he deserves immense praise for the performance he put in.
Gabriel Magalhaes has been absolutely immense for the Gunners since he joined them 3 years ago.
The Brazil international’s performances are almost always solid. But because of Saliba’s brilliance next to him, he doesn’t always get the credit he deserves for the club.
Even yesterday, Saliba was absolutely incredible. And if it wasn’t for Gabriel’s goal, not many people would be talking about him.
However, every Arsenal fan and player knows just how good Gabriel is for their club. He has been brilliant so far this season. And if he can continue to deliver like has has done so far then the Gunners have every chance of going all the way. This is ofcourse in the Premier League title race as well as the Champions League
