Arsenal want a fee of close to £50 million before they sell Eddie Nketiah. This is during the January transfer window. Eddie Nketiah appeared to be one player facing an uncertain future at the Emirates. This is heading into the window.
The talented player has scored five goals in the Premier League this season. That is two more than Gabriel Jesus. Nevertheless, he has not been able to push ahead of the Brazilian. This is in the pecking order.
Eddie leaving Arsenal could benefit both parties
Some of the criticism that has come Eddie Nketiah’s way is slightly unfair. The Arsenal man is a very good striker. He would get into many teams in the Premier League.
However, at Arsenal, Nketiah is currently behind Gabriel Jesus in the pecking order of the strikers. And even if that changes, he hasn’t shown enough consistency to prove that he can score 15 or 20 goals a season at the club.
So, if Arsenal need to find a prolific striker who will guarantee them goals every other game. They should bring him in to have the best chance of going all the way. That is ofcourse in the title race.
