Manchester United

Manchester United will be offloading some of their players in the January transfer window. The Red Devils are going to sell 5 players in order to make room for the upcoming transfers. Moreover, Erik Ten Hag wants to make sure that the inconsistent players are not a part of the team anymore. Raphael Varane, Casemiro, Anthony Martial, Jadon Sancho and Donny Van de Beek are the ones who will be leaving. To sign new players with compliance to financial play rules of the league, United need to offload players. Then only they’ll have the required space and money to get major transfers into their team. However, none of these players will be forced if they don’t want to leave the club.

As per sportwitness, Ten Hag will not release any player whose departure will affect the club. He just wants to sign players that are going to add value to the club and help them in the long run. Moreover, we don’t think that all the 5 players would be leaving in January. Some of them will only go if any better proposal is made to them.

Manchester United will be selling these players to get new signings to build the squad again.

Players like Varane, Casemiro, Martial and Vand de Beek are going to be put on sale because of their performances. All these players have been inconsistent since the past few seasons. The manager wants to let them go so that they can get back into their form elsewhere. Furthermore, Sancho has been rarely seen at the squad since his rumored clash with Ten Hag and is expected to leave as well.

In the meanwhile , Erik Ten Hag wants to build the team for the remaining half of the season. He wants to make room for the new players to arrive. He wants to invest in the upcoming transfer window. For that, he needs resources. And these resources will be generated by the sale of these players.
