Liverpool will look to take advantage of their great form at Anfield this season

Liverpool will look to take advantage of their great home form against League leaders Arsenal. They have also not lost any home game in the Premier League since October.

Hence, the Gunners have a big challenge against them in the form of the Reds. Jurgen Klopp is also confident of playing well against the Gunners.

LIVERPOOL MANAGER CONFIDENT BEFORE THE GAME AGAINST ARSENAL

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said that the team is happy to play back at home. They have not lost a game at Anfield since the Leeds game in October. The only disaster that happened at home was the big loss against Real Madrid in the 1st leg of the Champions League. Nonetheless, Jurgen Klopp is happy to play home games as they have played their recent games away from home.

The Liverpool manager after the Chelsea game further said, “I’m really looking forward to this game now,” said Klopp. “Arsenal are flying and in incredible shape and playing super football, it’s really good to watch as well. But we are there, it’s a home game, and our home record is not as bad as our away record. If we are difficult to beat against Arsenal, we can win this game.”

ARSENAL ALSO DO NOT HAVE A GREAT RECENT RECORD AT ANFIELD

Another advantage for Liverpool is that Arsenal also do not have a great record at Anfield. They have failed to win a game at Anfield since 2012. The Reds have also scored 37 goals in these fixture past the Gunners. Therefore, the current Arsenal team will have to do a miracle to beat the Jurgen Klopp’s men because of the home support they get.

However, Liverpool also know that the Gunners are the most in-form this season. Hence, they have acknowledge the fact that the Gunners have played well than them this season. The Arsenal have also the perfect players to attack the weakness of this Reds Team. Mikel Arteta will certainly hope that they can attack Trent Alexander Arnold with the pace of Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka.

Manchester City fans will also hope that Liverpool can win against Arsenal. This is because the Sky Blues are eight points behind the Gunners on the second spot. Hence, it looks like the Reds are going to have a say in the Premier League title race this season.
