Liverpool fans believe that the club’s latest social media post has a clue in it.

Liverpool have just posted a photo on social media that has made their fans go crazy. Moreover, Liverpool fans believe that the post has a clue in it about the arrival of a new player. Liverpool are currently at the 2nd place in the premier league with 39 points. They’re just a point behind Arsenal who are displaying consistent performance this season. Moreover, Liverpool will be aiming to get a specialised defensive midfielder in the January transfer window. Although Alexis Mac Allister is doing his job decently in the number 6 position, but a proper number 6 would allow him to play independently. Therefore, it would be the club’s top priority to sign a defensive midfielder.

According to sportsjoe, Liverpool posted a photo of Virgil Van Dijk and Cody Gakpo with a Christmas tree on Christmas day. Now this is the cause of all the craziness of fans. Both Van Dijk and Gakpo were announced during the Christmas only. Because of this, the fans are now of the thought that a new transfer is about to arrive in January. Moreover, they think that it could be a Dutch player as both Van Dijk and Gakpo are Dutch and they were the only ones in the picture.

Liverpool fans believe a new signing is about to arrive but Jurgen Klopp thinks otherwise.

When asked about his opinion on the possible January targets of Liverpool, Klopp was clear about his intentions. However, he has made it clear that transfers are not as easy as they look. The German believes that transfers cost a lot of money to the clubs. Furthermore, the player has to be a good performer or atleast he should have potential to step up for the club in required matches. Otherwise the money is wasted. That’s a clear indication that Klopp isn’t gonna sign a lot of players in January. However, he may get someone to fill in the gap of a defensive midfielder.
