It was reported by Football Insider Dean Jones, that the English Forward might leave the club after a reported crash with manager Aston Villa’s Steven Gerrard. Jones said, “What would happen in a situation like this is, typically, intermediaries start targeting obvious clubs when a player is made to feel like they don’t have much of a future”

Everton came into the summer transfer window after Richarlison’s departure and Dominic Calvert-Lewin six weeks injury. So, if they get a chance to sign someone like Watkins for whatever reason there is, manager Frank Lampard must ensure this deal is over the line as soon as possible.
