Everton wants to sign the deal for Aston Villa forward Ollie Watkins in the summer transfer window. The English club from the Merseyside is one of the founding member of the English Premier League in 1888. Since formed in 1878, Everton is the second oldest club in the English top flight football. The club’s most recent major trophy was the 1995 FA Cup. But, Everton finished at 16th, just 4 points above the relegation last season, as the Toffees lost 21 games while winning only 11 games. This year Everton’s manager Frank Lampard had a busy summer transfer window. Frank Lampard’s side Everton is still searching for their first win in the opening stages of this season.
Whereas, the English club from Aston, Birmingham, are desperately trying hard to get back to their form. Founded in 1874, Aston Villa are one of the oldest and most successful clubs in England. They are also the founding member of the Football League in 1888 and of the Premier League in 1992. Aston Villa only won their match, when they welcomed Everton to the Villa Park.

Ollie Watkinsstarted his senior career from Exeter City, followed by his arrival to Weston-super-Mare on loan. In July 2017, Brentford saw Watkins potential and signed him in, before moving to Villa part on September 2020. The 26-year-old adapting winger and idolize’s Thierry Henry. But now, the Midlands giants wants to sign in Aston Villa centre-forward Ollie Watkins. It is believed that manager Steven Gerrard has a tight relationship with Watkins, and they can’t be seen as the pair who “do not see eye to eye”.
