Newcastle United wants to sign Watford forward Joao Pedro.

Newcastle United are quite anxious to buy in Watford forward Joao Pedro as they made a second deal for them. Since their foundation in 1892, they have won four League titles and six FA Cups. Also, the Magpies are one of the most successful English club of all time. Newcastle are in 8th place in the Premier League’s all-time table. The English club based in Newcastle upon Tyne, were at 11th position in the points table last season. Not a promising start for the Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe to began this season. The Magpies won their first game to Nottingham Forest but played draw to Manchester City and Brighton & Hove Albion. But as the summer transfer window os approaching its deadline, Eddie Howe is still trying to pull of one more deal. The Magpies have made a second bid for young Brazilian forward Joao Pedro.

The English football club from Watford, Hertfordshire, share the relegation zone alongside Burnely and Norwich City in May 2022. The club’s original foundation is 1881, plays in the EFL Championship, the second tier of English football. And now the Newcastle United have kept their eyes on the Watford’s young striker Joao Pedro to bring him all the way back to St James’ Park.

Will Joao Pedro stay at Watford or leave for Newcastle United?

The 20-year-old young Brazilian forward who plays as forward for EFL Championship club Watford. João Pedro was the product of Fluminense, and on April 2019, Pedro began his senior career for Fluminense. Pedro signed a five-year contract with Watford in January 2020. Evidently, young 20-year-old is a rising star in the football world. While his curren team plays in the EFL Championship, but he caught the eyes of the selector in the English League. The Magpies have again further made the bid of £30m for the young 20-year-old Brazilian.

The Sky Sports report said that; “Last week they had a bid for Joao Pedro at Watford rejected, and we’ve got some breaking news with regards to that bid at the moment. It’s just been confirmed to us that Newcastle have made a second bid for Watford forward Joao Pedro. The bid is hold to be in the region of £30m which includes add-ons. Watford are currently considering the proposal, talks are ongoing over the structure of the deal and payments, and how achievable the add-ons are. Newcastle are hopeful that they can get this deal completed.”
