About Football Express UK

Still, only a week into Manchester United’s pre-season, there have been some substantial highlights which could not be ignored.

United have won the first two games of their pre-season. In that two games, they have scored eight goals and conceded only a single goal. Moreover, Ten Hag is getting what he is asking from his players.

Though, the Red Devils beat a Liverpool side that was not in their usual shape. Additionally, they were expected to beat Melbourne Victory. Still, one could expect widespread criticism if United had performed badly in these two matches.

United have looked formidable playing as a team in these matches. They played in a possession-based style which was expected from them by the head coach. Moreover, there have been a host of good individual performances which has taken precedence over others.

Like Eric Bailly, Charlie Savage, Zidane Iqbal, Jadon Sancho, and Anthony Martial-has all been the highlight of the pre-season for United.

Who is that one Manchester United player who has proven to be a definite undroppable next season?

Fred has been identified as one such player, who could go on to be the most dependable player for Ten Hag this season.

Fred will be playing his fifth season at Old Trafford this year. During that tenure, he has played under five different managers. However, each one of them had placed their faith in the Brazilian.

Though, not short of his flaws, he plays his heart out for the team. He always gives his full commitment to the team while playing in the Red jersey. Last season, he was one of the most consistent performers for United. He had four goals and six assists in all competitions last term.

He has been consistent in the friendly matches also.

If Frenkie De Jong could at all be signed he could well link up with the Brazilian through midfield.
