Manchester United is interested in signing Eduardo Camavinga from Rennes. The Sporting Director of Rennes Florian Maurice has hinted at a sale of the player. Currently, Eduardo Camavinga has one year left on his contract.
While speaking to France Bleu, Florian Maurice stated
“It is a very difficult transfer market and his future could depend on the movements of other clubs. Either we will extend it [his contract] or we look for a solution to sell him.”
“Letting him go for free after we have raised him, is not good for anyone. He can choose between saying ‘I want to go’ and ‘I want to stay. I know what he wants to do, but then we have to find a solution that satisfies all parties.“
Eduardo Camavinga is currently 18 years old. His preferred positions on the pitch are as a Central-Defensive-Midfielder or a Central-Midfielder. Last season he started 28 games for the club having a passing accuracy of 89%. His average positions on the pitch are in zones 13,15,11, 9, and 7. This shows that the player isn’t scared to carry the ball forward and play an attacking role. Currently, he is valued at £49.50m according to Transfermarkt. The reason for this evaluation could be due to his age and the length left on his current contract. Having 0.6 key passes per 90 shows that when needed he can also pass forward.
