Newcastle and Eddie Howe eye Manchester United’s McTominay

We believe that Newcastle United, particularly if they finish in the top four, will be able to acquire Scott McTominay from Premier League rivals Manchester United in the summer of 2023.

The Red Devils never wanted to release the Scottish International. But Eddie Howe really likes McTominay’s playstyle and wants him in his team.

After all, Erik ten Hag’s team wants to finish this season’s Premier League standings in a position to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

Ten Hag needs alternatives, even though Brazilian Casemiro is now playing very well in defence.

McTominay will leave Old Trafford at the end of the season.

Even the 26-year-old himself wants to play in the UEFA Champions League. A move to Newcastle will be good for McTominay.
