ARSENAL IN AGREEMENT TO SELL ANOTHER MIDFIELDER

According to reports, Arsenal are planning to sell Thomas Partey in the next summer transfer window. A report also claims that the Gunners have slapped a 40 million price tag. The midfielder was in discussions with the Gunners to extend his contract. However, in the recent months, the club decided to stall the discussions for the contract discussion.

Arsenal are now hoping to get maximum fee for the Ghana midfielder. Hence, it looks like the Gunners will now likely sell Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey in the next summer transfer window. However, clubs from Saudi Arabia are in advanced discussions with his agent.

THE GUNNERS NEED TO ADVANCE THEIR PURSUIT FOR ROMEO LAVIA AND DECLAN RICE

A report also claims that Arsenal will now accelerate their pursuit for the replacements. The replacements targeted are Romeo Lavia and Declan Rice. However, they will face intense competition for the signature of both the players. Manchester City have joined the race for Declan Rice. Whereas, West Ham also want the fee paid in 2 instalments for their star midfielder.

Arsenal are also facing the competition of Chelsea for Romeo Lavia. Southampton also want a fee of over 40 million for the midfielder. However, the Gunners have agreed personal terms with both the agents of the players. Therefore, the Gunners will have to agree a fee for both the players. However, the Gunners should have a good amount of cash from the potential sales of Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta already had the youngest squad in the Premier League last season. However, with the signings of Rice and Lavia, the average age for this season is likely to go more down. Although, they will miss the seniority of Partey and Granit Xhaka.
