Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has said that he is disappointed with the loss in the Europa League. However, the team has to get over the loss and focus on the Premier League.

The Gunners are also out of the FA Cup and Carabao Cup. Hence, they have a big advantage over the likes of Manchester City and Manchester United.

MIKEL ARTETA DISAPPOINTED WITH THE EUROPA LEAGUE ELIMINATION

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has said that he is disappointed with the loss against Sporting in the Europa League. He is also hoping that the loss is an eye opener for the players and the coaching staff. However, he has said that he believes that his side can bounce back with a win against Crystal Palace. Crystal Palace have also just sacked Patrick Viera as the manager.

Hence, Palace will also have things to prove themselves against the Gunners. The Arsenal manager further said that it is not good to lose a great opportunity to win the Europa League. He further added, “I cannot see it that way today. I don’t know, if you go through the competition and win it, it’s magnificent, if it’s not, then it affects your plans in the league, that’s a different story.”

ARSENAL WILL NOW FULLY FOCUS ON WINNING THE PREMIER LEAGUE

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has said that their full focus is on winning the Premier League this season. The Gunners are currently five points clear of second placed Manchester City. Hence, they are on their route to win their first league title since 2004. Therefore, Arteta has said that the Europa League elimination has also brought clarity for the rest of the season.

The Arsenal manager further said, “It’s a huge blow, but it brings clarity to the season,” Arteta told Arsenal’s website. “It’s 11 games to play for, 11 Premier League games, and a big final against Crystal Palace. The focus has to be there, the energy has to be there and learn from tonight.” We have to learn from it, but the best thing is now the reaction and show the same commitment, more quality and play better against Palace to beat them.

Hence, Arsenal fans will also hope that the team can win the Premier League title this season. This is because this is the best opportunity to win the title. Hence, Mikel Arteta and players will treat the remaining 11 games like the final game for the rest of the season.
