NUNO TAVARES REVEALS HIS PLANS FOR THE FUTURE
Arsenal defender Nuno Tavares plans to return to the Premier League club at the end of his loan spell. He signed for Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille on loan till the end of the season in the summer. However, the Gunners did not include a buy-out clause in the loan deal. The left-back has also said that he intends to return to the Gunners at the end of the season.
However, his priority at the moment is to help his current team climb up the table in Ligue 1. The Arsenal left-back further said, “Everyone knows that I still have two years left with Arsenal on my contract. We’ll finish the season. I’m here until the end of the season to reach our objectives with Marseille. I can’t tell you much more. “I feel very good here, with these players, this manager. We get along really well. At the end of the season, I will return to Arsenal. I can’t say much more.”
ARSENAL COULD HAVE THE PERFECT LONG-TERM PLAN FOR THE PORTUGUESE LEFT-BACK
According to reports, Arsenal are open to selling Kieran Tierney in the next summer transfer window. The report also claims that Newcastle United are closely monitoring his situation. Hence, the potential sale of Tierney would mean that Zinchenko could be the only recognised left-back. Therefore, this is the best scenario for Mikel Arteta.
