RICHARLISON SIGNING SHOWS THAT TOTTENHAM NEED TO IMPROVE THEIR TRANSFER RECUIRTMENT

Tottenham are 4th in the Premier League currently this season. However, they have clearly failed to play attacking football. Hence, many Spurs fans have also labelled it as boring football. The rival fans Arsenal fans also continue to make jokes on their style of football. Hence, Antonio Conte is under pressure for the rest of the season.

Many Spurs fans have also criticised the signings of the club in the last summer transfer window. Whereas, they have also said the owners should have backed Conte like the Arsenal owners backed their manager Mikel Arteta. A number of fans are also failing to understand the reason the club decided to spend 60 million for the services of Richarlison from Everton.

ARSENAL AVOIDED THEMSELVES A HUGE DISASTER THIS SEASON

According to Richarlison himself, Arsenal and Chelsea also wanted to sign him in the last summer transfer window. However, he said that he was happy to sign for Tottenham after talking to Antonio Conte. However, it looks both the clubs especially the Gunners avoided a big disaster. After a couple of days after missing out on Richarlison, the Gunners ended up signing Gabriel Jesus.

Arsenal have ended up with the right player. This is despite the major injury that has kept Jesus out after the World Cup. Gabriel Jesus has also helped the team with his experience of winning trophies and his leadership skills in tough situation. Hence, Tottenham will now hope that Richarlison scores his first goal to give some sort of attacking threat from the bench.

Tottenham will hope that they can at least finish in the top four to have Champions League football next season. Whereas, Gabriel Jesus is set to return from injury for Arsenal in the coming days. Hence, the Gunners title challenge will get a big boost for the rest of the season.
