THE GUNNERS ARE NOT THE ONLY SIDE IN THE RACE FOR HIS SIGNATURE

A report also claims that Arsenal are not the only side in the race. Aston Villa and Newcastle United are also closely monitoring his situation. The report also claims that Aston Villa made a 50 million bid for the winger in the January transfer window. However, he rejected the move as he did not want to leave his boyhood club in the mid-season.

Although, it looks like he remains open to a possible move in the next summer. Hence, the interested sides including Arsenal are back in for his signature. The report also claims that the Bilbao would at least demand a fee of 50 million for his services. However, the transfer demands are likely to go up because of the interest of multiple sides.

Arsenal need a new signing for the right-wing spot in the next summer. This is because they have only Bukayo Saka playing well. Saka performances have also declined in the last few games. Hence, they will need squad depth to avoid such bad performances from Saka in the Champions League next season.
