Manchester United are engineering a move for 23-year-old PSV Eindhoven forward Cody Gakpo in the transfer window this summer.

Cody Gakpo to join Manchester United?
The 23-year-old Dutch international has been under the radar of many clubs across Europe for his scintillating performances with the Eredivisie outfit. Gakpo along with the Dutch club have come to terms with a possible move this summer in the transfer window.
Speaking in an interview with ESPN as quoted by Sportsmole, he said-
“We must first focus on and try to make it to the Champions League,”
“Then it is more likely that I will stay. I don’t think I have said anywhere that I am leaving, so there is definitely a chance that I will stay.
“I’m open for a cup of coffee with the management – or coffee for them and water for me. We’ll see how it goes.”
The United boss is pushing to secure the services to add more depth and make his front line lethal. Gakpo plays as a forward in the flanks predominantly on the left side and has netted 45 goals in 138 occasions.
The coming weeks will prove to be crucial in the development of the potential move to Old Trafford this summer. It will be interesting to see if the manager lands Gakpo to United before the window concludes.
