Tottenham are said to be ahead in the race for Dominik Solanke

Tottenham Sutton

Tottenham Hotspur will now turn their attentions towards talented Bournemouth striker Dominik Solanke as they look for a new striker in January transfer window. Despite the recent upturn in form of Richarlison, who has scored 4 in his last 3 games. This is including one against Everton last time out. Spurs are still looking for another central striker for squad depth as well as player who could play on the wings.

According to The Sun, Tottenham are looking towards Dominic Solanke as a potential signing this January transfer window.

Tottenham could be the perfect fit for Dominik Solanke

The report from The Sun claims that Solanke is has now emerged as a target for Tottenham Hotspur. This as the January window draws ever nearer.

Solanke netted a brilliant hat-trick against Nottingham Forest last time out for the cherries. The former Chelsea and Liverpool man is already into double figures for this season for Bournemouth.

His form has reportedly caught the eye of Spurs. They are keen to add a new number nine to the ranks if possible.

Bournemouth could demand a big fee for the striker. This is after having rejected a £40m offer in the summer for their star man.

Tottenham are really in need of reinforcements in the January window. This is if they are to maintain their top four push.

Ange Postecoglou has done so much work and in our view. They deserves to be backed to the hilt by Daniel Levy and company.

Solanke is obviously doing very well at the cherries this season. He’d need little time to settle and would be able to instantly help Spurs.

Bournemouth, as we know, are in no rush to sell. And they are doing well under new boss Andoni Iraola. Tottenham, then, might well need to break the bank to land in Solanke at Tottenham. If not, then they might well lose him to another club.
