Khephren Thuram, the midfielder from Nice, has gave a possible indication regarding his future. He responded to reports of Alexis Mac Allister’s rumored transfer to Liverpool.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Alexis Mac Allister is on the verge of joining Liverpool from Brighton. Reports say that personal terms have been agreed upon. Hence, Liverpool is activating the release clause in Mac Allister’s contract at Brighton’s Amex Stadium.
Meanwhile, it appears that Alexis Mac Allister is on track to become Liverpool’s first signing in the upcoming transfer window. The transfer window will open for English clubs on June 14th.
Following a challenging season, Liverpool is to secure the services of multiple midfielders this summer. Potentially resulting in a series of new arrivals at the club. Jurgen Klopp and his team are looking to strengthen their midfield options for the upcoming season.
Will Liverpool only go for Thuram?
Meanwhile, there have been links between Liverpool and two midfielders: Manu Kone from Borussia Monchengladbach and Khephren Thuram from Nice. Thuram is the son of the renowned French player Lilian Thuram. The above two are the potential targets for a move to Anfield.
Khephren Thuram, 22 years old, caught the attention of Liverpool due to his impressive performances for Nice this season. He made 48 appearances across various competitions and managed to score two goals in the process.
Meanwhile, Thuram has added to the speculation surrounding his potential move to Liverpool by ‘liking’ a post on Instagram related to Mac Allister’s transfer to the club. Hence, this has fueled further speculation about his potential transfer to Anfield this summer.
Thuram said: “I want to progress, go on the field, have fun. For now, I’m in Nice. It’s going very well. I really like the club, so I still see myself in Nice. I am very well in Nice.”
