Arsenal FC: Rivals ‘negotiate astonishing swap deal’

Flamengo is not in touch

West Ham have “agreed” to a “sensational swap deal” to allow Declan Rice to join Manchester City, dealing a blow to Liverpool and Arsenal FC.

Rice is regarded as one of the top midfielders in the Premier League. West Ham has done well to maintain him for as long as they have.

The 23-year-old has excelled as the Hammers have recently competed for Europe, and he also made an impression with England during the World Cup.

Declan Rice, Manchester City, Arsenal FC and Champions League

The player recently confessed that he is anxious to participate in the Champions League. The Hammers appear to be in a relegation struggle this season.

It appears that both the player and the organization have accepted the likelihood that a transfer will take place.

Since Rice played for the Londoners as a youth, he has frequently been associated with Chelsea.

Liverpool has also been mentioned in relation to midfield reinforcements. Earlier this week, it was asserted that Arsenal had made a “big offer” to sign him. He is anticipated to cost approximately £75 million this summer.

TEAMtalk’s Graeme Bailey has indicated that Rice is “Chelsea bound as it stands”.

“We are now entering the end game for Declan Rice, West Ham United have accepted that he is leaving this summer. Rice has served West Ham well, but he is accepting that he needs to move on and so are West Ham – despite what may be said publicly.”

“And for me Rice is now ready and whilst a deal is not confirmed, at the moment I don’t see him going anywhere other than Chelsea. His beloved club from a youngster, I believe he has unfinished business at Stamford Bridge.

“I do expect others to show an interest – Liverpool are going to be rebuilding their midfield and surely they will show an interest.

“Arsenal have also been linked and it is clear Rice could very well have his pick of clubs. But as I said, he will be Chelsea bound, as it stands.”

Kalvin Phillip’s Downfall at Manchester City

Rice and Kalvin Phillips would be traded in a “sensational cash-plus-player deal”.

Phillips has a “great admirer” in Hammers manager David Moyes. The club was connected with him last year before he signed for Man City for £45 million.

If Man City would be interested in this proposition is not stated in the paper. They appear to be connecting the dots despite Phillips’ challenging start under Pep Guardiola.

The former Leeds United player has been sidelined for a significant portion of this season due to injuries, and Guardiola exposed the midfielder after the World Cup as being “unfit.”
