Pogba wants to wait before making the final decision over his future with Manchester United

About Football Express UK

Paul Pogba is reportedly in no rush to decide his future with Manchester United and preparing to wait beyond this summer transfer window as per the report in EUROSPORT

The record Premier League champions bought the world cup winner back in 2016 from Juventus for £94.5 million, making him the most expensive transfer of the club’s history. However, the transfer has not gone according to the plan. The 28-year-old fell out with former manager José Mourinho and failed to perform consistently for the Old Trafford outfit.

Recent reports are suggesting that the 28-year-old has turned down a contract offer from the Red Devils and is willing to leave the club. Paris Saint-Germain have expressed their desire to buy the Frenchman. And United are open to selling if they get a good deal in fear of losing him for free next summer. As he has only 12 months remaining in his current contract.

What will be the future of Pogba with Manchester United?

According to the report in EUROSPORT, Pogba could prolong his decision about his future with Manchester United. Even though PSG have shown interest in signing the Frenchman, the 28-year-old is not so keen on moving to Ligue 1.

The world cup winner wants to keep his options open. And United are still hopeful of handing Pogba a new deal, despite the midfielder’s desire to leave the club. The France international is tempted by the prospect of a move to Real Madrid or Juventus. However, he is willing to wait and see how the Red Devils will perform next season. Moreover, following the arrival of Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane Manchester United could become a real threat this season.

Pogba wants to win silverware and he would sign up for whichever club will be able to offer him that. The Frenchman wants to see if United can produce good performances and win silverware next season or not. Should Manchester United provide that then Pogba will be open to signing a new contract with the club.

However, if the Frenchman feels the Red Devils are going nowhere and fighting for the fourth spot then he will definitely leave the club for free next summer and go either Real Madrid or Juventus. As he will turn 29 next year and it will be his final big contract in his career.
