Pavard might join Inter amid interest from three Premier League giants

About Football Express UK

The likelihood of Inter Milan acquiring Benjamin Pavard, Bayern Munich versatile right back, are increasingly high. Gianluca Di Marzio, a transfer market expert for Sky Sport Italia, claims that today could be a turning point in the talks between the Nerazzurri and the Bavarians. In terms of defence, Inter has made Pavard its first priority. Beppe Marotta, CEO of the Nerazzurri, admitted the truth of their interest. The Frenchman must join the team by the end of the summer transfer window, according to coach Simone Inzaghi, who also acknowledged this. Man Utd, Arsenal, and Liverpool have all been mentioned in connection with Pavard in the past. However, no agreement was reached with any of these Premier League heavyweights.

Inter Milan set to sign Benjamin Pavard this summer

The Nerazzurri and Bayern have not yet reached an agreement on an agreement for the French defender. They made a prior offer that was marginally lower than Bayern’s asking price. However in the upcoming days, Benjamin Pavard’s agents will keep pushing for a transfer to Inter. A deal could yet be achieved if the Italians raise their offer. Bayern wants €30m plus €5m in add-ons. Pavard has repeatedly said internally that he intends to leave this summer.

Inter CEO Marotta stated earlier that: “What the player wants is important. In this case he has expressed his desire to come to Inter, and he’s extremely keen”

The French defender was among those who “liked” Inter’s post previewing their Saturday night match at home against Monza. Pavard has made it obvious that Inter is his first option, and it is believed that he has clearly dismissed United’s interest. With United having trouble on defence, this is a setback for the Red Devils.

After Bayern rejected Manchester United’s initial offer for Pavard, the Red Devils took their time coming up with a fresh offer. However Inter Milan sneaked in and made their offer for the 27-year-old World Cup winner thanks to United’s carelessness. It’s all the fault of United’s management that Pavard is going to sign a long term deal with Inter Milan. The 27-year-old World Cup winner was keen to play for Ten Hag’s squad. But since Manchester United provided no assurances regarding a transfer, he might join Inter soon.
