Ralf Ranginck’s period for Manchester united was the exact opposite of what fans expected.
He signed as interim manager with a clause of taking the consultancy position.

the news of Ranginck as the new interim manager and gave fans hope of securing the top 4 but Ralph easily failed to deliver on that.
although throughout this course, he was able to expose the issues with the team from the dressing room to the board.
Still, there were hopes among the fans after the season ended as he was supposed to take over the role where he can perform the best.
But before he took the consultancy position, the board decided to remove him and this may have been a bigger mistake than hiring him in the first place.
Issues highlighted by Ranginck
The main highlight of Ralph’s tenure was his press conference as he went all in highlighting the issues within the team.
Ralph emphasized bringing a new striker because of the age issue of Cavani and Ronaldo.
When asked if United needs a new striker, he said:
“This is obvious. Edinson’s contract is running out in the summer, and the club needs the best possible centre-forward. This is an obvious one. I think everyone is aware of that.”
Ten Hag became the permanent manager of the team and decided that he won’t need Ralph to work as a consultant with him.
Despite Ralph mentioning several times about a new striker, United were only able to bring right-winger Antony from Ajax.
This season, Martial is showing signs of improvement under Ten Hag but the injury concern is a serious issue.
Not having a striker is surely a huge concern for the team right now.
