Newcastle United will be without two key players against Everton

About Football Express UK

Newcastle United will take on Everton in their upcoming Premier League match. Both teams will look to secure all three points.

Alexander Issak and Saint-Maximin are out due to injuries

After their defeat in the last game against Tottenham, Everton will look to bounce back. Frank Lampard’s side avoided relegation last season on the last day. The Toffees currently sit 14th in the points table.

On the other hand, Newcastle United will be happy with their performance so far in the season. After a draw against Manchester United, manager Eddie Howe confirmed two key players will be out due to injuries.

After a draw at Old Trafford, the boss said,

Alex has re-injured his thigh. It’s a very similar injury to the first one that he picked up with Sweden. He’s going to be out for a period of time – we probably won’t see him before the break for the World Cup.”

The manager of Saint- Maximin injury said,

Maxi has a very slight irritation of his hamstring. On its own, that would be very small and would probably just be a few days out, but the problem we have is that because it’s the third time he’s done it now, we’re going to have to be very careful.”

Everton will look to do better this season, after appointing Chelsea legend Frank Lampard their new manager last season. And give their fans something to cheer by climbing up in the points table.
