Manchester United

Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard wants to leave his current club and Manchester United are interested. According to Fabrizio Romano, with United having seen a bid rejected for Pavard.

Erik ten Hag’s side are on the search for defensive reinforcements. This is amid the impending departure of Harry Maguire to West Ham. The Hammers have agreed a £30 million fee with United for the English centre-back.

However, according to The Sun, talks over personal terms have stalled. This is due to United having to part-fund the defender’s wages. That is if he does move to the London Stadium.

Pavard wants to join Manchester United

Manchester Unitde are willing to pay £29 million for Pavard. But Bayern are asking for around €45m-€50 million.

The 27-year-old France international is desperate to become a United player this summer itself. In fact, Pavard has a ‘verbal agreement’ to join the ranks at United. This is according to Sky Sports.

Bayern, however, would prefer the versatile defender to stay put. This is after they failed in a move for Manchester City full-back Kyle Walker. That being said, the Bundesliga club may have to switch up their approach as the player wants to leave.

After days of speculation surrounding his future, it appears Pavard has told Bayern. That is of his desire to become a Manchester United player this transfer window itself.
